How phone calls and text messages work between you and Lafayette Mold Experts, what you agree to when you give us your number, and how to stop them, under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

What giving us your number means
When you call (337) 294-0039, send a request through this website or hand your phone number to Lafayette Mold Experts in some other way, you agree to hear back about that request by phone, text message or email. The follow-up can come from Lafayette Mold Experts or from the firms preparing the assessment or the price for your property. Under Louisiana law those are separate firms: the one that assesses mold does not also remove it (La. R.S. 37:2158(A)(23)).
That agreement covers arranging, pricing, carrying out and following up on the mold or water work you asked about. Your number is not handed to outside companies for their own marketing.
Message and data rates
Your mobile carrier's normal message and data rates can apply to texts sent or received. Lafayette Mold Experts makes no charge for text messages.
How to stop calls and texts
You can take back your agreement at any time, by any of these routes, and each one is honored whichever way you choose:
- Texts: reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help.
- Calls: tell the caller to take your number off the list. The request is logged during the call and the calls end.
- Email: write to contact@lafayettemoldexperts.com with "STOP CONTACT" as the subject.
Once you opt out, nobody can follow up on an open quote or a booked visit, and your file is archived if you ask.
Call recording
Calls with Lafayette Mold Experts may be recorded to check service and to settle disagreements. Louisiana allows recording with the consent of one party to the call. Calls to (337) 294-0039 may be recorded and transcribed; if you do not want that, use the callback form or email instead. On a call made by a person, say so and the recording stops for that call.
Water still coming in
If you called about water that was still entering a building, a reasonable follow-up about that same job may be made after your consent has lapsed, only until that job is finished or you repeat your opt-out.
