Complaints Policy
How to raise a complaint about work arranged through Lafayette Mold Experts, what happens after you do, and the records you are entitled to see.

Why complaints matter here
Every complaint is read and answered. If an assessment, a remediation or a water-damage job at a Lafayette Parish property, arranged through this site, fell short of what you expected, we want to know. Complaints show where the work needs to change and help protect the next homeowner in Acadiana.
Three ways to make a complaint
- Email: contact@lafayettemoldexperts.com, with "COMPLAINT" in the subject. Give the property address, the date of the work and what went wrong.
- Phone: (337) 294-0039. Say that you are making a complaint, and it is logged with your details for the person who handles complaints.
- Post: if you would rather write on paper, ask by email for the mailing address and it will be sent to you.
What happens next
- Receipt. You get confirmation that the complaint arrived within two business days.
- Review. The written scope and every document on file are checked, and where it helps, someone goes back to the property to see the problem.
- Answer. Within fifteen business days you get a written answer with what was found and any fix on offer.
- Still unhappy. If the answer does not settle it, that is put in writing too, so you have a clear record of what was offered.
Complaints handled this way
- The quality of an assessment or of remediation work. Under Louisiana law these come from separate firms (La. R.S. 37:2158(A)(23)), and a complaint can be about either.
- Communication: missed appointments, calls not returned.
- Bills that differ from the written quote.
- The conduct of anyone who came to the property.
If it cannot be settled
You keep every right Louisiana law gives you, and the written answer records what was offered. Call (337) 294-0039 if you need copies of anything on file.
No penalty for complaining
Making a complaint never counts against you, and it does not change whether you can ask for help again.
Records
Complaint records are kept for seven years, and you can see yours on request.
